Inter's victory was not one of their best performances in recent weeks. The team looked slow and Alvarez was not at his usual best. Saying this, it was Alvarez that setup the first goal scored by Milito.

Somehow, I expected this kind of performance from Inter after a great victory over Milan and another fantastic display from the younger team against Genoa midway through the week.

The victory last Sunday against Milan means more to the team than just the three points gained, but it was one of the most important victories since Mourinho left the club.

This victory against Milan was probably just as satisfying as winning the Club World Cup.

It would have been nice to have Tevez with Inter at the beginning of the season, when Eto'o left as he would have been the perfect replacement. But now, finally our strikers are finding their form at the best time possible.

If Milito can continue his fine form against Milan on Sunday, it would be fantastic.
