Ranieri doing what Mourinho can't

Inter are finally in a better place in the Serie A standings. Fifth place is not a position that many expected the team to be in after such a horrible start to the season.
Nothing but good things can be said for Inter's coach Claudio Ranieri. He has done and is doing something many coaches could not with such a team.
I have come to realise even the great Jose Mourinho ran away from the club when he knew Inter were going to be one of the first clubs to take the UEFA Financial Fair Play rule seriously.
Mourinho will always be a legend at Inter and will never be forgotten, but I am convinced he could not do what Ranieri is doing with Inter today.
It is a fact that Mourinho always looks for a team with a big bank account, but that is soon going to end for a lot of clubs.
Milan and Juventus might be on a high today, but their time will come as well when they have to invest in the youth sector as Inter is doing at the moment.
Many Inter fans who read this article will surely not be happy with what I am writing, but I believe this is a true fact when you think about it.
We can even look at Barcelona's coach, Guardiola. Can this coach win with a team on a budget? At the moment he has the best team in the world and most probably any coach with the right mentality can win everything with that team.
I am not so sure that Guardiola can fit in with Inter and President Moratti would make a serious mistake if he removes Ranieri, even if we don't qualify for next seasons Champions League.
Ranieri never had the luxury of summer camp with the players, and if he was with the club from the beginning of the season, the 2011 Italian Super Cup would probably be in Inter's cabinet.
Inter have the time to relax now and re-group in the Christmas break.
We have a lot to look forward to as Inter have a good chance to keep on progressing in the Champions League and with Sneijder and Forlan back in the squad, Ranieri will have a stronger team that is already showing their great progress with their 4-1 win over Lecce. This was one of Inter's best games in many months.
Now we can look forward to what new additions Moratti will add to the team, hopefully they will fit in well and help Inter get to the top.
I would like to wish all my readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
