Inter's new look attack

Eto'o has left and many Inter supporters and critics were left scratching their heads. Many were wondering what options they had in attack without Eto'o. Pazzini and Milito for some reason were not enough to satisfy even the most dedicated fan.

But as usual, Inter produced some magic in the final days of the transfer window as Diego Forlan and Mauro Zarate were signed.
These two players will surely add substance to Inter's attack and with their experience we can now say Inter can challenge Milan for the Scudetto.
Yes, Forlan is not very young anymore, but the player still has the desire to win just as Milan's Inzaghi at the age of 38.
In today's modern game, the age of 32 is just a number as if a player is injury free for most of his career he can keep on playing much more longer into his career.
Zarate has the desire to play after having a rocky relationship with his former team. The Argentine should fit in well with the squad and especially the captain.
Both Forlan and Zarate are good marksmen and if Gasperini plans everything well, Inter will rack in the goals and slowly start to realise the team can win without Eto'o.
A small problem has occured regarding Forlan this week as it was officially announced on the Inter website that he is cup-tied till January in the Champions League.
Reports from Italy suggest that Inter made a grave mistake when they were signing the player without investigating his Champions League status.
But do you think Inter would have refused Forlan even if they knew he was cup-tied? I really don't think so. You don't just refuse a player with that quality just for a couple of games on the bench.
Why are so many people worried? Inter still have Zarate, Milito and Pazzini in attack. These three alone are already a great, imagine when Forlan join the team in January.
I do not know what the problem is!!! Inter are all of a sudden huge underdogs in the new campaign. All of a sudden Juventus and Napoli are favourites to challenge Milan.
Both Juventus and Napoli still have a lot to prove if they want to make me believe they have more quality than Inter.
