Claudio Ranieri is the new man to coach Inter
It has been a while since I have wrote something due to the fact that I could not believe what was happening to Inter.
The coach was trying every system possible and the players would not produce, especially when he used three defenders instead of the traditional four.
This was definitely Gasperini's downfall and this time I believe Massimo Moratti was correct in changing the coach.
How can the president of the current World Champions keep seeing his cherished side being defeated by the weakest competitors? He had to step in and he did right.
If Inter always were successful with a system that worked, why change it? Yes, you might say Gasperini wanted to change things a bit, to leave his mark, but this definitely did not work. Gasperini definitely left his mark on one aspect as he went into Inter's history books of the most unsuccessful coach in their entire hsitory.
Now Claudio Ranieri is the man to replace Gasperini.
Is Ranieri perfect man for the job? Yes he is.
Ranieri is a coach that can lift a team out of the ruins as he did with Juventus and Roma. Ranieri was not treated well by Juventus as if he was kept on they would have definitely done better as he was building a good team. With Roma it was a different story, as usual some players think they are bigger than the coaches and he decided to leave.
Everybody is complaining that Ranieri is a number two coach, in the sense that he brings a team to the top and does not go that extra step to win a title.
Well, he almost took it from Inter while at Roma and it was a little bad luck as well.
Ranieri has the experience to handle big European sides. He has coached teams such as Chelsea, Juventus and Roma. This could also be one of the downfalls of Gasperini as he never coached and of the elite teams in Europe.
Claudio Ranieri has also defeated some big clubs during his time at Juventus and Roma, so this coach definitely knows what he is doing.
Ranieri is definitely not after the money as with huge payoffs from Juventus and especially Chelsea, the man has the money.
Ranieri has a lot to prove with Inter, especially as it was the team that Mourinho coached and we all know how Mourinho always attacked Ranieri with his wild comments.
Ranieri will surely bring back the system with four defenders at the back, and most probably play with the 4-4-2 system.
A basic system that can win matches and Inter are greatly accustomed to.
The new coach has a team with a wealth of experience and he has a lot of fantastic players to choose from. Many players still want to prove their worth to the club, such as Pazzini and Forlan.
With all this happening, Inter still have a great chance to get back on top as their rivals Milan are also having a horrible season, and Juventus already look to be slowing down.
The fans should welcome their new coach Claudio Ranieri!!
Forza Inter!!
