Experience needed to guide the young stars

With all the talk of players like Sneijder, Milito, Eto'o and Maicon leaving Inter, it makes me wonder if it is such a good idea to drain the team from so much talent.
Before I continue to talk about Inter, lets go back a couple of years and look at English heavyweights Arsenal as an example.

In the 2003-2004 campaign Henry, Viera, Lehman, Toure, Bergkamp, Gilberto and Pires to name a few were all playing for Arsenal. They went on to win the Premier League title that season and were a force to reckon with in the Champions League as well.
In the following years, the team had a total change and all the experienced stars went on to new projects with other teams. The change was not a moderate one but shock that left the team hanging.
What was next for Arsenal? They had to continue with young talent that were not yet mature enough to handle the pressure of the Premier League and the Champions League.
Since then, Arsenal were never the same team and if they don't hold on to the mature players they have now they will have a hard time winning more titles.
The Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has a great policy to bring up young talent, but keeping some experience in the squad is a must.
Now you must be saying, what does Arsenal have to do with today's Inter. Well, they have a lot to do with them.
Watching the friendly against Manchester City was a taste of reality for the new Inter squad and it was a true example of what it would be like with such a young team. Inter's former player Mario Balotelli made the Inter youngsters look very young with his slick moves and sharpness in front of goal.
It made we wonder what the new season would be like if they have to base their first team on these young players.
New signing Alvarez is still not settled and needs to adjust. Bianchetti, Caldirola and Natalino have to sit back and gain some more experience. The only new player that impressed  me was Castaignos. This player has strength and knows how to handle and hold on to the ball.
Now what would happen if players such as Sneijder, Milito, Eto'o and Maicon leave the team?? Who will these young players depend on? Gasperini surely knows that a team without experience will surely not win you any titles.
Inter need balance in the team and President Massimo Moratti knows that to keep the momentum going, he cannot only look at what a player is worth financially but what is the player worth to the team.
Manchester United are still chasing Sneijder and I don't blame them. But how will Inter cope in the midfield without him?
Losing 3-0 against City in a friendly is not the end of the world as Inter played with a quarter of their real team. Manchester City practically played with a full squad compared to Inter who had Zanetti, Lucio, Maicon, Cambiasso and Milito to name a few all absent.
When the player line-up came up on screen, I knew Inter were not going to go far in this match. It was truly a training session and a great way for Gasperini to find out how his young players can handle a team such as Manchester City.
Hopefully when Inter play Milan for the Italian Super Cup, it will be a different story.
