Looking forward to next season

I personally think this season is closed for Inter. They are almost sure of finishing in the top three as Napoli, Udinese and Lazio all failed to take advantage of Inter slipping against Parma.
The victory against Lazio was a incredible spectacle for the Inter fans as it showed a glimpse of what could have been this season.
When Inter have a full team at their disposal they are just as good as they were when Mourinho was at the helm.

I firmly believe that the Walter Samuel being injured was a major factor in the decline of Inter's solid defence that Mourinho relied on so much.
We must now look forward to next season and start making plans to get the Scudetto back from Milan. Leonardo will surely be given the chance to coach and build the team as he would like to from the beginning of next season. Will he succeed? If the team plays as they did against Lazio with ten men... I surely believe he can put in a great challenge for the Scudetto and the Champions League trophy.
The most sensitive moments of next season will be the Milan derby. If Leonardo wins one of the encounters, he will surely be filled with confidence and will prove to all his critics that he is a coach worth having.
Rumours of Guardiola and Baggio taking the bench are a bit far fetched. Guardiola coming to Inter is a possibility though. Moratti does have a dream of Guardiola coming to Inter one day, but for know, Moratti is surely happy with his young coach.
Why can't Leonardo have the same chance that Ferguson had when he first signed with Manchester United. Infact they almost fired him. Inter should follow the Manchester United way of doing things, from the beginning to the end.
Moratti should let Leonardo grow with the team and reshape it little by little until it is a truly fined tuned machine.
Leonardo will surely have good advisors and he will surely be helped along the way.
Leonardo has proved himself as a great motivator as to get Inter to beat Lazio after losing against Parma was a great accomplishment.
What players should go? This question cannot be answered for now as it is a still bit too early.
The only player that seems to be on his way out is Sneijder. Yes, he did say he wants to stay with Inter, but if Manchester United comes knocking at your door, they are surely a hard side to just ignore.

Forza Inter
