| Leonardo is always there to keep the player on top of their game |
Inter are in the position to defend the title that belongs to them. Milan were so far ahead in the championship, that the Scudetto was practically theirs.... but that's what they thought.
Leonardo has brought a Inter side back to life after a dark phase under coach Benitez. Injuries did make it hard for Benitez, but Leonardo has added that little spark to the team. even his celebrations when the score, it gives the players the sign that they are doing a good job.
Being just two points away from Milan is something nobody could even talk about six months ago, but it has become reality and Inter are practically in control.
Are Milan worried? Of course they are!!! as Inter and Napoli are waiting to jump ahead. Don't be surprised if Milan finish third or even in fourth place this season as the meltdown has begun!
We cannot say that they will win the league as there are some difficult games ahead. Inter still have Udinese, Napoli to lock horns with and it will not be easy. We must not forget about the Derby, but this time around Inter will go into the match without any fear. The team is not devastated with injuries as in the beginning of the season and Milan are going through a mini-crisis.
If Leonardo makes the right decisions, Inter can win the Scudetto, and if they do it will be great accomplishment for Leonardo and the team.
In the news this morning, we are hearing again the news that Inter want Mourinho to share the bench with Leonardo.
This would be a fantastic match, and Leonardo would learn so much from such a great coach like Mourinho. who knows, Mourinho might learn something from Leonardo.
but if you ask me who I would prefer, I would pick Leonardo. His work tin the last six months is proof that he can change a team around. The biggest factor I like Leonardo is that you never hear him saying he wants to leave Italy, or that he wants to coach in another country. Leonardo is focused on the job at hand.
Mourinho was always unpredictable. One minute he says he is staying and the next he says he wants to go back to England. This does leave a bit of tension in the change room as even the players don't know what is happening.
Till now, Leonardo is dedicated to Inter and he will stay with them for many years as a coach and even as a director.
