| Eto'o was not so lucky against Juventus |
Inter lose to Juventus.... was it expected? I think so...
Juventus had a lot of pressure to win this match. Inter had pressure as well, but win or lose, Inter are still in the race for the Scudetto. Juventus are desperate for Champions League football and they are trying to win as many games as possible to get into the top four.
the Juventus - Inter match was not going to be a high scoring match. Whoever scored first would eventually win.
Inter have work to do at the back end as that goal could have been avoided. A team should never leave a striker like that alone in the penalty area.
Inter were horrible in the first half, and Juventus did a fantastic job by keeping Pazzini and Eto'o occupied.
The second half was a different story, Inter attacked well, but the ball would not go in.
Eto'o had a great chance to at least score the equaliser, but I am sorry to say, he was a bit selfish in the way he shot the ball. A simple touch would have been enough. But trying a power shot like that was a bit ridiculous.
Anyways we can't cry about the past now. Inter have to look forward to Fiorentina and comeback home with all three points.
Rivals Milan are not out of the woods yet, Napoli are hot on their heels with only three points between them. I cannot see Milan not losing a couple of games till the end of the season. If Milan do not play well against Tottenham and get eliminated from the Champions League, it will surely hamper their season.
Inter must keep on pushing and arrange the problems at the back.
At the moment, the current Inter without Stankovic and Lucio suffer a lot. The team needs these two players as they do in fact make a difference.
