Inter and Roma are both still in the running for the league title as Milan dropped some points in the last match.
Roma played to a draw as well to give Inter the chance to gain some important ground on Milan.
Inter are now seven points behind their city rivals with a extra match to play against Fiorentina.
Milan cannot afford anymore mistakes as Leonardo's Inter are in fine form with the new additions of Pazzini who scored three goals in two matches with Inter, Houssine Kharja and finally Yuto Nagatomo.
If Inter win the match against Roma, it will give them a great boost to push ahead and challenge Milan for the Scudetto.
Moving on to other subjects... The punch of Chivu was just a careless mistake.
Inter are right in not appeal the four game suspension, as the club appreciated Chivu's apologies after the match.
Chivu will miss some vital games, but Inter have enough in the squad to replace him.
Careless actions like this can put a team in trouble at such a delicate time in the season, and Inter do not need these distractions.
Inter's latest signing Nagatomo looks to be very excited to play with the Italian, European and World champions.
I have heard some great things about Nagatomo and I hope he fits in well. He is the first ever Japanese player to play for the Italian side, but he should fit in well.
Highlights last Thursday showed how relaxed the atmosphere is in the change room was before the match when Nagatomo walked in with everybody joking around with Samurai jokes.
This is a good sign and the player should fit in well.
Nagatomo is a player that Inter needs as he is a fast player that is good with the ball.
Finally Sneijder is back!!! He scored in the match against Bari and is alreadly looking dangerous.
I must say the combination of Eto'o, Pazzini and Milito did not work so well. The minute Eto'o came off the front end started to look dangerous.
It could be the players still have to get used to each other with the new addition Pazzini playing.
Leonardo surely will sort out the problems in the next match against Roma, and I am sure he will not take any chances.
Maybe Pazzini will score the vital goals against Roma as he did last season to take them off their brief stint at the top of the standings.
