| Pazzini is now an Inter player |
Inter have definitely moved in the transfer window and Benitez is probably saying he should have kept his mouth shut and not attacked all the management at Inter after winning the Club World Cup.
Inter have acquired the services of Giampaolo Pazzini from Sampdoria for four-and-a-half years and Kharja from Genoa on loan with the option to buy at the end of the season.
Pazzini was confirmed yesterday (Friday) as Kharja has been confirmed Saturday morning, but is already training with the team.
When Pazzini played with Sampdoria, especially against Inter, he was a striker that always scared me. He always managed to get a goal when you don't expect it. He is a striker that takes his chances in front goal and most probably will work well with Inter's Eto'o, Milito and Pandev.
Inter need Pazzini as unfortunately this Milito is plagued with injuries.
Inter need another strong striker to move the ball ahead. In the last two matches without Milito helping out. Eto'o could barely get close to the area to have a decent shot on goal.
The problem was evident against Napoli in the Coppa Italia match.
Another plus for Inter is that Pazzini is Italian, and that is something Inter is in short supply at the moment.
Some may disagree with this signing but I agree and I think he will do well with Inter and score more goals.
Another great signing is Kharja from Genoa. Inter have had some great signing from Genoa, and it is with this great relationship with Genoa that Inter have had so much success in recent years.
The fantastic acquisition of Milito and Motta from Genoa was just fantastic.
Kharja is another important acquisition. We have lost Stankovic for approximately 40 days and Sneijder is still not fully recovered from his injury, but now he is starting to train with the ball.
Hopefully the young Kharja will help move the ball forward to Inter's strikers to get those important goals to retain the Scudetto.
I would like to say good luck to Jonathan Ludovic Biabiany who has been transferred to Sampdoria as part of the Pazzini deal.
He is a young player with a great future. He will surely have more playing time with Sampdoria. I was always impressed of how fast Biabiany runs.
He will always be remembered by Inter fans for scoring the third goal in the FIFA Club World Cup match.
Inter have lost a world Champion to Sampdoria. But one can also say Sampdoria has acquired a World Champion.
