The Pato theory

Alexandre Pato next season???
In the last couple of weeks some interesting things have started to pop up in the press.
Some statements of players might or might not be taken seriously.
The move from Milan to Inter Milan is still being discussed regarding Leonardo.
Reporters will not give up on asking questions about his former team.
Teams and fans must wake up and face the music. They should be grateful a player or a manger gave so much to their team.
But there is not law that says he has signed till death.
I respect Leonardo for wanting to see and work in football from another view point other than the colours of Milan.
Now getting on to somebody else. A young player, who plays for Milan was quoted saying about three weeks ago that he would never switch over to Inter as Leonardo did.
Pato said these exact words:
“This is a profession, Leonardo made a decision and we respect that," the 21-year-old told Sky Sport Italia."I just want to win with this jersey, which I will wear as long as the club wants me to. Would I go to Inter? No, never. I only want Milan.“Inter are always Inter, a strong side that won everything last season, but as I have already said we must focus on our own targets. I am convinced we will do well.”
The funny things is, Pato said this when he was still on a high with Milan.
But two weeks can make a huge difference in football, especially in Italy.
Amazingly in the next match against Lecce, Pato felt the wrath of Ibrahimovic and Gattuso.
Some passes from Pato did not arrive to Ibrahimovic and you can see the tension on the pitch.
The match ended with Pato leaving the pitch in a bad state.
Everybody knows that Ibrahimovic is a selofish striker, and he is a one man show. He was like that with Inter, and he tried to be like that with Barcelona, but he knows what happened their.
Yes Ibrahimovic helped Inter, but other players suffered like Balotteli, Cruz and Suazo.
Now getting back to Pato. Does he have a place in the Milan squad.
They now have bad boy Cassano to set up the plays, and Robinho to help out Ibrahimovic.
Would Pato have said those same words again? Would he now accept an offer to play for Inter under the guidance of the man who brought him to Milan?
Pato would eventually sign for Inter.

The reasons why:
The squad is full of Brazilians.
Pato has a great relationship with Leonardo.
Moratti wants young talent.
He can surely learn from Eto'o and Milito.
He can play along side Inter's young rising star Coutinho.

Last season right after the Champions League final, I have always said that Leonardo would eventually coach Inter and it has happened and it is going great.
If the statements and reactions of players are going to keep going like this, we might surely eventually see Pato with Inter.
Now you might say he is a Milan player. But you know what? I don't care.
You sign a contract, get paid and play for the team. That is football today.
There are only a handful of players you would die for their shirt. A few names are Javier Zanetti, Del Piero, Francesco Totti (even though he could possibly leave Roma), and Buffon.
Pato is still young, he has a great future ahead of him, and if he decides to stay with Milan because he is scared of some yelling and crying of fans and press, he is making a huge mistake.
One must take note, other teams would want him as well. Chelsea are in the race if Ancelotti is still coach at the end of the season, and Manchester City as well.
It was reported as well that Roberto Mancini was the first person to recognise Pato when he was coach of Inter. But Leonardo as a Milan director was quick to step in and convince him to play for Milan.
So don't be surprised if Leonardo does his magic again and convinces Pato to make the switch!!
